2026 SHADOWS MASTERPIECE QUEST

1. Eligibility

​

The Masterpiece Quest is open to artists worldwide who are 18 years of age or older (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction). By submitting, you confirm that the artwork is your original creation and that you hold all necessary rights to enter it.

2. Submission Requirements

  • Each submission must include all requested information on the official entry form.

  • All works must be original. Copies, plagiarized, or AI-generated works (without clear artistic transformation and ownership) are not eligible.

  • Shadows reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or ineligible submissions without refund.
     

3. Submission Fee

  • A non-refundable fee of $[X] is required for each submission.

  • Payment must be processed through the official online form before submission will be considered complete.

     

4. Review & Selection Process

  • All entries will be reviewed by Shadows’ curatorial panel.

  • Selection into the Masterpiece Quest does not guarantee acquisition, exhibition, or sale but does make the work eligible for consideration in Shadows’ collection, exhibitions, or promotional features.

  • Decisions of Shadows and its curatorial team are final.
     

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

  • Artists retain full copyright and ownership of their submitted works.

  • By submitting, artists grant Shadows a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute submission materials (including images, statements, and videos) for promotional, archival, and press purposes related to the Masterpiece Quest and Shadows’ mission.

  • If selected for acquisition or exhibition, additional agreements will be made directly with the artist.
     

6. Refunds & Withdrawals

  • Submission fees are non-refundable under any circumstance, including withdrawal or disqualification.
     

7. Liability

  • Shadows is not responsible for lost, damaged, misdirected, or corrupted files.

  • Artists are responsible for ensuring that submissions are properly formatted and uploaded.
     

8. Agreement

By submitting to the Masterpiece Quest, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
